The Gutenberg Committee is pleased to announce the nomination of Gilles Blais and Lauréanne Houde-Blais as Co-Presidents of the Gutenberg 2019

“A few weeks after the 36th Gala, it is with pride that I hand over the torch to Gilles Blais, President of Groupe Précigrafik, as well as to Lauréanne Houde-Blais, Strategy Director at Groupe Précigrafik,” announces with pleasure Yvon Sauvageau, Multi-Reliure and President of the Gutenberg 2018.

“Gilles successfully leads a dynamic company celebrating its 30th anniversary this year in Sherbrooke. It's a milestone he's marking with major investments in growth projects. This is exactly what the Gutenberg values. Successes that are generated by innovation and the surpassing of existing teams,” emphasizes Mr. Sauvageau.

“We're also achieving a first with a co-presidency that clearly demonstrates that the next generation is taking its place in the industry. Lauréanne Houde-Blais will be co-chairing the Gutenberg Committee, in addition to contributing her energy and capacity for innovation to the success of our event. I wanted the next Gala to continue its momentum, and having Lauréanne and Gilles on board exceeds my expectations. The Gutenberg never ceases to impress me,” he adds.

“Driven by our passion for our industry, we enthusiastically agreed to join the dynamic Gutenberg team. This competition honors the strength of our medium and helps nurture the creativity and daring shown by Quebec printers. The desire to do great things is fostered by sharing experiences and new ideas. We therefore invite all industry players to submit projects of which printers are particularly proud. At the end of this contest, at the Gala, we'll be celebrating an industry that outdoes itself!” adds Gilles Blais enthusiastically.

“The desire to do great things is also intergenerational. Beyond the pride of perpetuating innovation and communicating the impact of our medium to future generations, it's a real privilege to evolve in a pool of up-and-comers determined to push the boundaries of print. It is with great passion that I will be the voice of our vibrant industry's new generation at its annual celebration!

“The Gutenberg is back on the map. Thanks to the exceptional collaboration of our sponsors, our print production partners and the enthusiasm of our participants, the Organizing Committee, which has worked hard for the past seven years, is ready to celebrate the 37th Gutenberg!” concludes Mr. Sauvageau.
