Our great and beautiful Industry came together virtually, to celebrate the best of print at the 39th Gutenberg.
For this 39th Gala, the Organizing Committee headed by its president, Carmela Martinez, CEO of Mp Repro, wanted to create an emotional gathering where ideas, creativity, unity and above all solidarity allowed us to proudly celebrate our beautiful Industry. Hosted by our presenter Marieme Ndiaye, this event brought our community together for an emotional moment.
The event kicked off in the afternoon and Diamond, Platinum and Gold partners opened the doors of their virtual booths. Several guests learned about the latest advancements in technology and innovation.
Subsequently, the Virtual Cocktail started. The guests were grouped together as usual, in virtual tables. This allowed exchanges between all and in a way represented the tables of the evening when the Gala takes place in person. Guests were also able to visit industry colleagues from table to table.
And what about the superb cocktail box! This pretty box replaced the annual bag and contained promotional items from our proud partners, the centerpiece of the year: a replica of the magnificent decor, the Qi Québecimprimerie Magazine and a few surprises! The guest could therefore have a little Gutenberg-style decor, tasting his cocktail treats, in the comfort of his office or at home.
During the ‘speed-networking’ session, the guests met randomly, for a few minutes. When the time was up, the algorithm suggested another guest to chat with. A great way to reconnect with colleagues and friends!
It was in the early evening that our host Marieme launched the Awards ceremony. In a magnificent decor, the announcements of the finalists and winners followed one another.
The Après-Gala, on the other hand, featured a few bloopers, presented the images received from our spectators during the evening and the winners were invited to come and present their thanks live.
