A few weeks after the 43th Gala, we are proud to announce the appointment of Laurence Desmarchais as Chair of the Gutenberg 2026 Committee.
"Laurence is the ideal candidate to carry the voice of Gutenberg 2026. This young woman represents a strong, dynamic and committed new generation. It is with great pride that I hand over the reins to her, and salute the success of a united family with a passion for the trade," explains Serge Loubier, Chairman of the 43rd Gutenberg Group.th Gutenberg.
"I grew up in the printing industry, driven by the passion passed down through four generations of my family, a pride that drives me every day. It's this energy, combined with the dedication and expertise of the people in our industry, that drives me to innovate, to aim higher and to make this constantly evolving sector shine.
Today, I am honoured to accept the presidency of the 44th Gala Gutenberg, as a young woman and a rising star in a well-established industry. A role I take on with enthusiasm, pride and a sincere desire to move things forward.
I am delighted to join a wonderful team driven by a shared vision: to make the printing industry shine. Believing in young people means believing in a prosperous future focused on innovation. In my role as president, I want to be the voice of the new generation, the one that dares to propel our sector forward, push boundaries, and build bridges with previous generations.
I'm keen to open the door to more discussion, more exchange, more daring. I dream of an industry that evolves in a spirit of collaboration, where expertise and new ideas are valued equally. An industry that is strong, sustainable and deeply human.
We have a wonderful year ahead of us, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the next Gutenberg Gala, in 2026!" says Laurence Desmarchais, President of the Gutenberg 2026 Committee.
Thanks to the exceptional collaboration of our partners, our print production partners and the enthusiasm of our participants, the Organizing Committee is ready to celebrate the 44th Gutenberg.
Do not hesitate to communicate with the Committee, your comments and ideas are welcome.
